This is the summer of FIRSTS!  Starting with my first blog post, how exciting!!! So I’m dedicating this first post to my first time ever getting box braids.

Since My last pregnancy, my hair just started breaking off even though it was healthy.  I tried for a full two years to relinquish it back to it’s full glory with little or no avail.  To sum it all up, I chopped off all my hair and now I am starting anew!

My cousin turned me on to this lovely human who has super braiding powers (@MsHairandHumor) and by the grace of god I was able to land an appointment with her within the month.  She hooked me up and OMG it is awesome.  I don’t have to do a thing to my hair for a full month!  Best part is, no pain, no gain is a lie, because this install was PAINLESS and I feel like I gained a whole heap of my life back!
